Janet Gutierrez founded the firm in 2009. Today the firm's practice is family law — divorce, custody, support, and the legal questions that come with separation.
We don't dabble in real estate or personal injury or criminal defense. Family law is what we do — every case, every day.
What's evolved is how we work. We've invested in tools and processes that let us move faster and keep clients better informed. We use mediation when it fits, litigation when it doesn't. We're fluent in both English and Spanish. Janet's work has been recognized by the San Diego Daily Transcript and the San Diego Union Tribune over the years.

We tell you what to expect at the start of your case and update you when expectations change. You won't get a surprise bill or learn about a court date from someone else. If a question doesn't have a clear answer yet, we'll tell you that too.
